QUESTIONS ON PLANETS, HOUSES & SIGNS
1. In SA we talk about the eleventh House being the house of gains, but not from career, or is it "not necessarily" from career? Is there a hard and fast rule about that? And gains from "what" in that case, fifth house things, for one, and what ever is in that house?
Gains mean financial gains from any source, including career.
2. Who would rule the seventh house significations if it does not contain a mooltrikona sign?

3. Under SA what are the auspicious houses?
Under SA all houses other than dusthana (Malefic houses) houses are treated as auspicious houses.
4. Which is the house/planet to look for pets, such as a dog?
The fifth house and the planet Venus.
5. Could you please explain how the tenth house is connected with the next birth?
A strong and without affliction tenth house promises a comfortable next birth because of the good deeds in this life and it is further on the path of spirituality and moksha.
6. In the book entitled Systems' Approach for Interpreting Horoscopes by Professor Choudhry, it is stated that when the lord of the ascendant (lagna) is situated in the sixth house, such a person cannot go well/adjust with others. Would the same general effect be if sixth lord was in the first house, or does this combination make one more interested in health matters?
This combination also produces same results. If the lord of the ascendant is weak then it produces health problems as well.
7. In the Order of significations, education is fifth-second-Jupiter-Sun. Why does it first go to the fifth? Isn't education a fourth house matter?
The analytical studies and post-graduate studies are seen from the fifth and second house. The school education is seen from the fourth house. The spiritual studies are seen from the ninth house.
8. Will a planet ever harm a house containing it's own non-mulatrikona sign?
A planet would definitely harm its non-moolatrikona sign if the planet is a functional malefic and the planet is placed on most effective point of its own non-moolatrikona sign.
That is right.
